Tropical Storm Bret is expected to strengthen near hurricane status in the coming days as it moves towards the Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Bret could turn north or continue west into the Caribbean and threaten the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and other islands.
