Tropical Storm Arlene Weakens to Depression, Says National Hurricane Center

Tropical Storm Arlene has weakened into a tropical depression and is moving away from Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. The National Hurricane Center predicts that the system will become a remnant low later today. No coastal watches or warnings have been issued, but a Flood Watch was issued for a portion of Southeast Florida. Two to four inches of rainfall is possible over the next few days with localized amounts of 6 inches or more in some areas.
