Texas Braces for Record-Breaking Heat and Thunderstorms

The National Weather Service has forecasted a chance for severe thunderstorms in the San Antonio area and parts of the Texas Hill Country on Thursday, June 15. While San Antonio and surrounding cities are under the umbrella for possible storms, the biggest threat is north of San Antonio. Dangerous heat conditions are anticipated to continue through the end of the holiday weekend with more possible heat advisories and excessive heat warnings on the horizon. With the rising heat comes higher risks for heat-related illnesses.
