"Snowfall Totals and School Closures: Impact on Commute and Education in New Jersey"

A fast-moving winter storm has already dumped up to 13 inches of snow in parts of northern New Jersey, with some areas expected to receive a foot of snow before the storm moves away. Early snowfall totals show 10 to 11 inches in northern Sussex County and nearly 6 inches in parts of Bergen, Hunterdon, Morris, and Warren counties. Thirteen New Jersey counties are under winter storm warnings, with the storm expected to create very hazardous travel conditions due to heavy snow and strong winds.
