A back door cold front will bring a chance of showers tonight and rain and downpours for the morning rush in the Tri-State area. The best chance for rain will be west and southwest of Cincinnati, with most areas seeing no more than a quarter inch of rain. The precipitation is expected to settle to the south by 10 a.m. Clouds will decrease by late morning, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. The front will usher wildfire smoke south, resulting in less haze. Clearing is expected by noon, if not earlier. Wednesday night will be mostly clear and cooler with less haze.
