Severe Weather Alert: Flood Watch and Power Outages Expected in NC Triangle, New England, and Myrtle Beach

A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire Triangle area in North Carolina until Monday due to a level 3 storm impact, with heavy rainfall of 2-4 inches and wind gusts of 25-35mph. Power outages are possible. The storm is expected to bring damaging winds and heavy downpours, with the strongest winds and highest rain totals expected in areas from Raleigh to the east. The worst of the storm should be over by early Monday morning, but lingering clouds and showers are expected throughout the day. Some snow and icy roads may be seen in the Appalachians and North Carolina mountains.
