San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m. on Friday, April 28, with the possibility of scattered hail up to the size of an apple, wind gusts topping 75 miles per hour, and lightning. The storms could bring straight-line wind gusts and large hail with a possible tornado or two. The National Weather Service advises residents and visitors to assess travel plans Friday evening as the inclement weather begins to roll in.
