Powerful storms have caused over 400,000 power outages across the US, with Tennessee and Arkansas being the hardest hit states. The National Weather Service has warned of an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms over parts of the mid-Atlantic through Tuesday morning, with frequent lightning, severe thunderstorm wind gusts, hail, and possibly a few tornadoes.
