Severe Storms and Flooding Threaten Central PA and Philadelphia Region

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a flood watch for 18 counties in central Pennsylvania, including Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York. The watch is in effect from Sunday afternoon until Monday morning, with forecasters predicting 1.5 to 3 inches of rain in the area. Excessive runoff may lead to flooding in rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying areas, as well as urban areas with poor drainage. Residents in flood-prone areas are advised to take necessary precautions and be prepared for potential flooding.
