Rainy Weekend Forecast for Western and Central New York

Western New York (WNY) is expected to experience a change in weather with the arrival of a cold front and a weather system bringing widespread rainfall. Rainfall amounts will range from 1/4" to 3/4" across the region on Sunday and Sunday night, with a weaker storm system keeping showers around on Monday. The cool air and low pressure will result in below-normal temperatures for the first half of next week, potentially leading to lake effect rain showers. Scattered showers are also expected on Tuesday and early Wednesday.
