Rainfall Deluge Transforms Minnesota Landscape

Southern Minnesota continues to experience clouds and lingering showers from the weekend storm, with additional rainfall reported in eastern Minnesota. Rainfall totals since Friday have exceeded 7 inches in certain places. Lingering showers are expected on Tuesday, with southeast Minnesota potentially seeing local amounts near 1 inch. Northern Minnesota will have more sunshine, while the southern half of the state will remain cloudy. A big warmup is forecasted for the end of the week, with temperatures well above normal levels, reaching near 80 degrees in southern Minnesota by Friday and mid-80s by Sunday.
