Power Outages Plague NYSEG and National Grid Customers Due to Weather

More than 6,900 NYSEG customers were without power due to heavy rain in Western New York, with most of the outages in the Buffalo/Cheektowaga/Depew area. As of 3 p.m., power was still out for more than 1,300 NYSEG customers across Western New York. Some scattered power outages for National Grid customers were also reported in Allegany, Erie, and Wyoming counties.
