Power Outages Plague Central Ohio, Leaving Thousands in the Dark

Thousands of AEP Ohio customers are experiencing power outages across central Ohio due to thunderstorms, with Franklin County reporting over 13,800 outages and Delaware County reporting over 1,400 outages. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the region until 11 p.m., with a heightened risk of severe weather, including damaging wind and hail.
