Oregon Cascades brace for heavy snow and gusty winds in upcoming cold front.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for heavy snow in the Cascades and parts of the Coast Range in Oregon until Sunday night. Up to a foot of snow could fall in the Coast Range in areas above 1,500 feet, while snow accumulations above 1,500 feet in the Cascades could reach 1-2 feet, with up to 4 feet of snow above 3,000. Wind gusts as high as 35 mph are also predicted.
