"Northeastern US Braces for 24-Inch Snowfall in Major Winter Storm"

A major winter storm brought heavy snow and freezing rain to parts of the US north-east, with winter storm warnings and watches in effect throughout the region. Some communities in Massachusetts had already recorded nearly a foot of snow, and more than 16,000 electric customers in the state were without power.
