North Carolina Braces for Wet and Windy Memorial Day Weekend

The First Alert Weather Team predicts heavy rain and strong wind gusts for Memorial Day Weekend in central North Carolina. Rain chances remain above 60 percent all day on Saturday, increasing up to 97 percent midday. Rain is likely all day Sunday too, but it will not be as all encompassing as Saturday. Everyone in the ABC11 viewing area can expect to get at least 1 inch of rain. By Monday, things start to improve gradually with temperatures increasing into the mid 70s and the rain becoming scattered.
