"Michigan Braces for Near-Blizzard Conditions and Snowy Weather Ahead"

A winter storm is forecasted to bring heavy snow to most of Michigan this weekend, with up to a foot of snow possible in some areas. Winter storm watches have been issued for most of the state, and significant snowfall is expected in Metro Detroit, West Michigan, Northern Lower Michigan, and the Upper Peninsula. The storm may also bring strong winds, causing blowing and drifting snow, whiteout conditions, and hazardous travel.
