Michigan Braces for Multiple Rounds of Wintry Weather: Snow, Rain, and Gusty Winds Expected

Southeast Michigan will experience a burst of snow late tonight or early Tuesday morning, changing to rain for Tuesday afternoon and evening, and then back to snow showers by Wednesday morning. The heavy snowfall on Tuesday morning could make driving dangerous, but temperatures warming above freezing later in the day should make roads wet rather than snowy. Expect 2 to 4 inches of snow Tuesday morning, followed by rain and another 1 to 2 inches of snow late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, resulting in 1 to 3 inches of snow on the ground when the storm is over.
