Memorial Day Weekend Weather: Rain or Shine?

A low-pressure system developing near the Southeast coast could bring wet conditions and increased raininess across the region, potentially acquiring characteristics of a subtropical storm. A separate disturbance north of the Bahamas is not expected to develop. The National Hurricane Center may add another area to watch closer to the Southeast coast in the coming days. Subtropical storms are a strange mix of development ingredients and typically occur early or late in the hurricane season.
