Flood Watch in SE Michigan Until Tuesday Afternoon

Parts of Southeast Michigan, including Wayne, Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, and Genessee counties, are under a flood watch from 8 p.m. Monday to 4 p.m. Tuesday due to expected excessive rainfall. Showers and storms are forecasted to begin Monday evening, with the strongest activity occurring around 10-11 p.m. Monday. Flooding is the main concern, with rainfall amounts ranging from three-quarters of an inch to 1.5 inches, and some areas potentially receiving near 2 inches. Strong winds, lightning, and thunder are also possible. Another system is expected to bring more showers and storms on Thursday.
