"Extreme Weather Alert: Wind, Rain, and Flooding Threaten New Jersey"

The National Weather Service has issued wind advisories for 16 counties in New Jersey, with gusts as strong as 45 to 50 mph expected on Sunday and Monday following a rain storm. The advisories will be in effect from early Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning, posing a threat of downed trees and scattered power outages. The saturated ground from previous storms may lead to greater tree damage, and the new rain could trigger minor flooding along rivers, streams, and creeks, as well as minor tidal flooding along the Atlantic coast, Delaware Bay, and tidal Delaware River.
