Chilly Nights Ahead: First Major Cold Front of the Season Approaches

The strongest cold front of the season is set to arrive in Central Florida by early Sunday morning, bringing cooler temperatures and low humidity. Cloudiness and a few isolated sprinkles are expected as the front moves through, followed by drier air and sunny skies. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s to low 80s on Sunday, but the coolest air will move in by Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the mid-to-low 70s and wakeup temperatures in the 40s and 50s. This will be the coldest Central Florida has been since mid-March. Gradual warming is expected by the end of the week, with the possibility of another front moving in by the weekend.
