Car Swept Away by Tornado on I-295 in Johnston

A driver in Johnston, Rhode Island, was taken to the hospital after her car was reportedly lifted several feet off the ground by a possible tornado on I-295. Witnesses described cyclone-like winds and one off-duty firefighter said it moved his truck as well. The driver suffered injuries to her neck and back, and the National Weather Service is sending a survey team to confirm if a tornado touched down.
