A First Alert has been issued for Arizona as the next storm system brings winter weather to the state. Snow is falling in the high country, while the Valley will experience cooler temperatures and increased rain chances tonight. Widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, with rainfall totals of up to a quarter inch in the Valley and half an inch in higher elevations. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of Coconino and Apache counties, with gusty winds and falling snow expected. The weekend will be dry but cooler, with temperatures in the mid 60s and chilly mornings. Next week, temperatures will rise back to the mid 70s.
