Alabama Weather Update: Chilly Nights and Dry Days Forecasted

Parts of north Alabama could experience lows in the 30s tonight, marking the coldest night since last spring. While no freezing temperatures are expected, the state will see a true dose of fall coolness with temperatures dropping to levels not seen since early May. Central Alabama will also experience chilly temperatures in the low to mid-40s, while south Alabama will see lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. A gradual warmup is expected next week, but there is a chance of below-average temperatures in Alabama from October 12-16.
