Multiple Crashes and Vehicle Struggles Cause I-70 Closures and Injuries

Interstate 70 west of Denver was closed due to trucks struggling to gain traction on the snow-covered lanes, causing traffic congestion. Snowplows and tow trucks had difficulty reaching the stuck vehicles, leading to the closure of eastbound lanes. The closure extended from the bottom of Floyd Hill to its summit, with the westbound lanes also being closed later. The closure was prompted by safety concerns as the snow and low temperatures moved into the area.
