Tragic Loss: Retired MHP Trooper Fatally Injured at Crash Scene

A retired Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper, Michael Griffin, was killed while assisting at a crash scene in Panola County. Griffin stopped to check on one of the drivers involved in the crash when the vehicle rolled on top of him, resulting in his death. Griffin was known for his dedication as a public servant and law enforcement officer. The crash is currently under investigation.
