"Overwhelming Majority of Americans View Antisemitism as a Serious Issue"

A new report from the American Jewish Committee reveals that large majorities of Americans, including both Jews and non-Jews, consider antisemitism in the U.S. to be a serious problem. The survey, conducted in October and November 2023, found that 94% of Jews and 74% of U.S. adults surveyed view antisemitism as a significant issue. Nearly half of Jewish respondents have altered their behavior due to fear, with many feeling uncertain about their place in American society. The rise in antisemitism, particularly following the Israel-Hamas conflict, has led to concerns about safety and freedom of religion, prompting calls for support and solidarity.
