D'Monterrio Gibson, a Black FedEx delivery driver who reported being shot at and chased by two white men in Mississippi, has been fired from his job. Gibson had been on worker's compensation leave since the incident and was terminated after he declined a part-time, non-courier job offer from FedEx. The termination comes after a mistrial was declared for the father and son charged in the attack due to police errors. Gibson's attorney plans to file a new civil lawsuit seeking $10 million in state court.
