A Black FedEx delivery driver, D'Monterrio Gibson, who reported being shot at and chased by two white men in Mississippi in 2022, has been fired from his job. Gibson had been on worker's compensation leave since the incident and was terminated by FedEx for not accepting a part-time, non-courier job. The termination comes after a mistrial was declared for the father and son charged in the attack due to police errors. Gibson's attorney plans to file a new civil lawsuit seeking $10 million.
