US Navy Veteran Runs Pro-Russia Propaganda Channel

A former US Navy non-commissioned officer, Sarah Bils, has been identified as the person behind a social media account that spreads pro-Russian propaganda and misinformation about the war in Ukraine. Bils, who goes by the name Donbass Devushka online, has a YouTube channel, a Twitter account, and a Spotify podcast with tens of thousands of followers. She claims that 15 other people help her run the account. The account has also been associated with helping to spread leaked US intelligence documents. Bils denies any involvement in the leak.
