Trump's Legal Team Loses Key Attorney

Timothy Parlatore, a key attorney for Donald Trump who played a role in the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation and testified before the grand jury, has left the former president's legal team. Parlatore's departure comes as special counsel Jack Smith appears to be in the final stretch of investigations into the possible mishandling of classified documents and efforts to obstruct the 2020 election. Parlatore recently co-authored a letter to House Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner asking Congress to tell the Justice Department to step aside because they believe the intelligence community should conduct the investigation into what happened with the classified documents.
