Trump's Federal Trial Date Set for August 14 in Fort Pierce Courthouse.

Former President Donald Trump's federal trial for taking hundreds of classified records when he left the White House in January 2021 will take place in Fort Pierce, Florida, beginning on August 14th. The trial will be presided over by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, whom Trump appointed in 2020. Cannon has blocked off two weeks for the trial, which could be shorter or longer and could even be continued to a later date. Trump was indicted earlier this month on 37 criminal counts and pleaded not guilty to charges related to the classified documents.
