Maine's secretary of state, Shenna Bellows, has delayed a decision on whether to deny former President Donald Trump access to the state's presidential primary ballot after a Colorado court ruled that he is ineligible in that state. The delay allows both sides in the dispute to file additional arguments in light of the Colorado ruling, which challengers believe strengthens their case to disqualify Trump. The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump is ineligible to appear on the primary ballot due to his involvement in the January 6th Capitol insurrection. Bellows is expected to issue a decision early next week.
