Trump Attacks Judge's Family Despite Safety Warning

Former President Donald Trump targeted the family of Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing his indictment, calling them "Trump haters" and accusing them of bias. Merchan had earlier warned Trump not to make comments that could jeopardize anyone's safety. Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., identified Merchan's daughter as Loren Merchan, president and partner of Authentic Campaigns, which runs digital campaigns for Democratic candidates, including Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden-Harris campaign. Trump was arraigned on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, largely related to hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign.
