The Disintegration of the Republican Party: A Conservative Judge's Perspective

J Michael Luttig, a conservative judge who advised Mike Pence not to overturn the 2020 election, believes that Donald Trump has destroyed the Republican party, leaving American democracy in grave peril. Luttig argues that there is currently no Republican party to counter the Democrats, and he believes that Trump is a greater danger now than before. Luttig also stated that he does not think Trump can avoid conviction for election subversion, as the evidence is overwhelming that he knew he had lost the election.
