Texas Lawmakers Speak Out on Gun Violence After Latest Mass Shooting

Texas state Sen. Roland Gutierrez (D) called for action on gun control after seven people were killed by a gunman at a Dallas-area outlet mall on Saturday. Gutierrez represents the Texas town of Uvalde, where 19 children and two teachers were shot to death at an elementary school last year. He criticized Republican leaders for allowing people to have access to AR-15s and other guns. Gutierrez also called out authorities for the delay in sharing information about the shooter and the weapon.
