"Suspected Trump Rally Shooter Identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks"

Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old Bethel Park resident, attempted to assassinate Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Crooks, who had displayed Trump signs outside his home, was shot and killed by Secret Service after firing eight bullets at Trump from a nearby building. The FBI is investigating the incident as possible domestic terrorism and found suspicious devices in Crooks' home and vehicle. Crooks, a registered Republican with no criminal history, was not previously on the FBI's radar.
