Scott Turner Nominated to Lead HUD by Trump

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated former Texas state lawmaker Scott Turner to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Turner, who served in the Texas House from 2013 to 2017 and was the executive director of the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council, will advise the president on housing issues if confirmed. Turner, a former NFL player, has also been involved in community engagement and education initiatives.
