Massachusetts Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley has joined the growing calls for California Senator Dianne Feinstein to resign, citing her absence from Senate votes due to shingles as impacting her ability to do the job. Feinstein has already announced she will not run for re-election in 2024, but has so far pushed back on calls for her to resign. If she does step down, California Governor Gavin Newsom would appoint her replacement until the 2024 election.
