Jack Teixeira, a former member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard, is set to plead guilty to charges of leaking highly classified military and intelligence documents. He was accused of using his position as a systems administrator to obtain and disseminate the information on the online messaging platform Discord. The leaked documents included sensitive information about Russia, Ukraine, troop movements, and Western deliveries of weapons to Ukraine. Additionally, 15 individuals faced disciplinary actions in the wake of the leaks, with the Air Force finding that Teixeira's unit failed to properly supervise his access to classified information.
