Minnesota Legislature Approves Recreational Marijuana Legalization

The Minnesota House has passed a recreational marijuana bill in a 71-59 vote, which would legalize recreational cannabis, expunge misdemeanor cannabis cases, and fund education, treatment, and law enforcement programs. The bill would allow people 21 and older to buy, sell, and use marijuana, and create a new state Office of Cannabis Management.
