Mike Pompeo Rules Out 2024 Presidential Run

Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State and CIA director, announced that he will not run for president in 2024 due to personal reasons. However, he did not rule out the possibility of running in the future. Pompeo has distanced himself from former President Donald Trump while remaining close to his political groups. He attended the Conservative Political Action Conference in March and criticized Trump without mentioning his name. Pompeo defended the United States' relationship with Saudi Arabia and took the side of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was found to have ordered the assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
