Mike Pence Ends Explanation of Trump's Words: 'No Longer in the Business'

Former Vice President Mike Pence stated that he is no longer in the business of explaining former President Donald Trump's comments, after being pressed on Trump's recent remarks about retired General Mike Milley. Pence criticized Trump's comments about Milley and refused to speculate on who Milley was referring to in his retirement speech. Pence also avoided directly attacking Trump and declined to comment on whether he believed Trump is unfit to be president. Pence has distanced himself from Trump since the January 6 Capitol siege and is currently running for president in 2024, polling at 4 percent among Republicans.
