"Michigan Court Begins Trial for GOPers Accused of Fake Electors"

Prosecutors in Michigan are presenting their case against 15 state Republicans who are charged with acting as false electors for former President Donald Trump during the 2020 election. The defendants, including former and current party officials, activists, and officeholders, face eight criminal charges, including forgery. All defendants have pleaded not guilty except for one who had charges dropped due to a cooperation deal.
