"Majority of Ohio Voters Remain Supportive of Legal Abortion, Exit Poll Reveals"

According to the preliminary results of CNN's Ohio exit poll, a year after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, voters in Ohio still largely express negative feelings about the decision, with about 4 in 10 calling themselves angry about it. However, the majority of the Ohio electorate favors legal abortion, with roughly 3 in 10 saying it should be legal in all cases and about a third saying it should be legal in most cases. Democrats lead Republicans in terms of trust to handle abortion, but only by a single-digit margin. Voters in favor of Issue 1, which would enshrine the right to an abortion in the state constitution, hold stronger views on abortion and Roe compared to those in opposition.
