Judge rules Trump used attorney to commit crime in classified docs probe.

A US district judge has ruled that former President Donald Trump committed a crime through his attorneys, allowing prosecutors to sidestep attorney-client privilege and order Trump's lawyer, Evan Corcoran, to testify before a federal grand jury. The ruling was made in relation to Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation into Trump's handling of classified documents and his role in the Jan. 6 insurrection. Trump's legal team has appealed the ruling, and the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit has stayed the decision.
