Juan Guaidó's Controversial Expulsion from Colombia and Arrival in Miami.

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó was ejected from Colombia while attempting to attend an international summit about the political future of his crisis-stricken homeland. Guaidó had planned to take part in October opposition primaries designed to select a candidate to challenge Nicolás Maduro in a presidential election scheduled for next year. However, his political standing has waned dramatically since early 2019, and most of the international community has abandoned his parallel “presidency” and “interim government”.
