Hunter Biden Faces Multiple Indictments for Tax Charges

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has been indicted on nine tax charges in California, including three felonies and six misdemeanors. The charges are in addition to federal firearms charges in Delaware. The indictment alleges that Hunter Biden owed at least $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019, during a period when he struggled with addiction. If convicted, he could face a maximum of 17 years in prison. The special counsel investigation into his business dealings remains open. Defense attorney Abbe Lowell accused the special counsel of bowing to Republican pressure, while the White House declined to comment. Congressional Republicans are pursuing an impeachment inquiry into President Biden, claiming he was involved in an influence-peddling scheme with his son. No evidence has emerged to prove these claims against the president.
