Gabe Gore Takes Over as St. Louis Circuit Attorney Amidst Controversy.

Gabe Gore, a former federal prosecutor and civil attorney, has been appointed as the new circuit attorney for St. Louis, replacing Kimberly M. Gardner. Gore inherits a criminal justice system with a backlog of thousands of cases and a staff that's one-third the size of when Gardner took over. Colleagues who worked with Gore during his career say he's up to the task and has a history of taking on big assignments. Despite his experience, Gore has never tried a criminal case in St. Louis Circuit Court.
